I've got dreams, I've got dreams Hey I am back. I know, I know, I know it's been a long time. At the end of 2024, I announced that I was rebranding my podcast from the real estate junkie to the Keith Andrews podcast. And I promised that I'd have great episodes, great guests. And then all of a I just disappeared off the face of the earth. So I do apologize for that, but let me tell you, it was with Good reasons that I did that. It was just something that I had to do in my personal life. um As most of you know, I did two things last year or I mentioned two things last year. One is I started my own brokerage focused on investment real estate here in Colorado Springs. We do everything from working with buyers, sellers of rental properties to helping, you know, people house hack. get started in real estate. We also do property management and with property management comes a lot of things that you know when I was just managing my own portfolio it's one thing but when you start managing doors for other people it's a it's a completely different animal especially when you inherit tenants that you didn't place. So we have dealt with a lot of different challenges. And just trying to get everything just smoothed out. So I had to take a pause. had to say, you know what? Let me just push back the guests for a little bit. Let me focus on getting this business really set up. And that's what I did. We're there now. We got things really, really fine tuned and automated. We were able to bring on some people to help as well. So I have my time back and those that have been listening to this podcast know The whole reason I got into real estate was to get my life back. To basically have that time freedom that I didn't have in my corporate job. And then I started a property management company that basically took it all away. But I'm back folks. The most important thing you can ever do in life... to spend as much time as you can with your loved ones because that's what life's all about and Real estate has enabled me to do that and sometimes you got to step away for a while another thing I did is I I wrote a book So I'm really really excited about that. It is a real estate memoir called ten doors to freedom So stay tuned for more information on that. It really goes through my journey in real estate in detail uh the pitfalls right the big mistakes that almost wiped me out and how I came back from them and how I was able to basically break away from the nine to five after just ten rental properties of course I've scaled it further since then but it really was that tenth door that unlocked the freedom that ultimately got me to start this podcast in the first place. So my story is going to be out there. I can't wait to get it out to you. Yeah, stay tuned for more on that. I'll be dropping more and more information on that book in the weeks to come. And again, I am back starting next week. I will have a new guest. that I'm going to be sitting down with. uh He has a story very similar to mine except he's located in the other side of the country so we're going to talk about what's going on in the Georgia real estate market. and hear a little bit about his story and how he was able to step away from the corporate world because of real estate and he kind of did what I did. He started his own real estate team to help others as well. So ah yeah, we got a lot of other guests on board too. So I'm going to do this regular. Don't worry. I'm not going to disappear on you this time. Things are finally in a place where I can start doing this again. But yeah, that's really what all I wanted to say today is that I am back folks.
